Why do the authorties bother with inmates who harm themselves?
Q. I am watching this show on Super Max prisons and there is a segment on protectiong prisoners from themselves. Why? Why not just say "screw 'em"? If they want to hurt themselves why not let them? (Obviously if this does not involve or lead to hurting others.)
