A. The same way a government always justifies stripping the rights of the people in order to centralize power. -a goal to suspend a certain right is developed. -a way to suspend that right is rationalized as being related to a perceived threat. -The perceived threat is propagandized in order to instill fear in the people and talk them into giving up their rights. -a law is created to ban the right that is responsible for the threat. -the ban is enforced. the only justification needed is that it was the will of the people. When they find out that the law really wasn't a good idea, it takes more than just demanding it changed. Once the government gains power it rarely wants to give it back to the people.
