What is the difference between author's perspective and historical context in a piece of literature?
Q. Is the historical context part of author's perspective, or are they two completely different things? Can you explain what exactly they are?
Asked by Jacie - Sun Feb 21 17:26:32 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Typically the author will attempt to use the narrative voice to accept or reject the historical context in which the piece is based. Historical context is of course part of the authors perspective as it is the world around that will always influence the writing. The aurthors persective is how willing he/she is to accept or reject this historical context.
