My ankles often hurt. Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop it from hurting?
Q. I tried to talk to my doctor but she said to just take advil, elevate them, and put ice on them. Only advil had helped. I am very athletic and I think I did something to them in gymnastics. The hurt mostly during times where a do running aka basketball season/swimming season. Any ideas on what may have happened or how to stop them for hurting as much?

A. Heel spurs...planter facitis same symptoms and had surgery "don't have it ! Worst thing I ever did is have surgery. It was the price I had to pay for walking 3-4 miles ago and staying a size 5..plus working all my life. Go into google images and look it up. Been 2 years since surgery and my foot is still having complications .

A. Everybody is different. Most people feel something, but its not a devistating pain. If you were fine with your cartilage, it shouldn't be intolerable, though it does hurt a little more.

How bad does a belly button piercing hurt compared to nose?
Q. I am definitely getting my belly button pierced, I am just curious how badly it hurts. I have six piercings on my ears (none of which hurt) and my nose pierced. I thought the nose hurt pretty bad, so anyone who has both their belly button and their nose pierced, which one hurt more? I can tolerate pain pretty well, but my nose started bleeding when I got it done, which made it pretty bad lol.

A. Nose would probably hurt more because it's cartilege while belly is just skin. Belly doesn't hurt at all in my opinion. It's quick and painless. goodluck!

A. A forearm tattoo is definately not among the real painful spots to get a tattoo, like the neck or ankles for example. You should do fine, just make sure you are well rested and have a meal before getting tattooed. Dont worry about the pain too much, its very manageable. You'll see. Good Luck

A. For one, it's not called "gauging" the ear, it's called "stretching." Gauges are the size of the hole and jewelry. Stretching is the action. I wouldn't recommend skipping gauges. This will cause blow outs and all sorts of nastiness. Wait the extra few weeks and do it the right way, or suffer irreversible damage to your lobes. Good luck. :)

A. Just give him water he'll drink what he needs. In general this breed does not take heat too well. He should not be outside when it is 105. Over 90-95 depending on the humidity he should be inside. Check out the ASPCA and Humane Society for info on this. Also depending on where you live you may be violating humane animal laws keeping him out him. Check local laws. Where I live that would be a rather substantial fine and they would check back to see if he was taken in and kept inside in the heat. I know you care for him so please don't let him stay out in that heat. God Bless

A. It varies from person to person but breast pain does not always mean you are pregnant. My breasts would sometimes hurt just before my period would start or for some when they ovulate. My breasts never hurt during my first pregnancy but hurt almost immediately with this pregnancy.

A. If your wisdom teeth are in a good position it will take less than 30 min to extract them, and probably won't hurt for too long afterwards, at least until the "holes" heal up (1 month)

A. Its the anticipation that is worse. Its the shock that hurts. But no it generally does not hurt that much. Just make sure you take deep breathes. The beautician will put it on the bottom of your legs first and then do that part section by section. But after a while you get used to it. I hope it goes well. How bad would it hurt if I intentionally dislocate my shoulder?
Q. I have MDI (Mulit-dimensional Instability) in both shoulders, particularly my left one. Everytime I roll my shoulder back, it almost dislocates with the ball of my arm on the edge of the "cup". A. It would hurt as bad as it would for anyone else. The pain comes from nerves outside the cup and from the dislocation and stretching of various muscles and tendons. You'd probably get out of work, but it would be because you're actually injured, you wouldnt be just poppin it back in and goin on vacation lol

A. It's minor and paintball is extremely fun. It only stings for a minute or so and the fun is well worth the sting. Just try to wear long sleeves and jeans when you go, it'll reduce the sting and any welts you may get.
